SUMMARY Under the direction of the Nurse Director/charge nurse, provides competent and organized admission to and discharge from the Acute Rehab Unit. Provides patients and families with competent holistic care based on nursing process. This role will be four nine?hour shifts per week. EXPERIENCE One year medical/surgical nursing, rehabilitation nursing experience preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS Experience with interdisciplinary team and with IRF-PAI and UDS documentation. Communication skills, critical thinking, time management, and organization skills. OTHER Basic computer skills utilizing MS Office (Word, Excel) and CERNER Millennium. LICENSE / CERTIFICATION Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA. Preferred: CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse). EDUCATION Required: Associates in Nursing. Preferred: Bachelors in Nursing.
