Responsibilities:

Enercon's Nuclear Service Group is seeking a Project Manager to join the team based in our Aiken, SC, Fort Worth, TX, Overland Park, KS, Naperville, IL, Phoenix, AZ, King of Prussia, PA, Kennewick, WA, Chattanooga, TN, Emeryville, CA, San Luis Obispo, CA and Kennesaw, GA location(s).

  • Lead efforts while working with technical staff to develop winning, and highly detailed, engineering proposals
  • Develop Nuclear Services Project Work Plans, Risk Management Plans, Communication Plans, Work Breakdown Structures and Dictionaries
  • Enforce Internal and external work standards, schedules, supervising sub-contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates
  • Responsible for development of project schedule, execution of schedule, reporting on schedule, preparing recovery schedules and rebaselining schedules
  • Responsible to managed matrixed technical staff to ensure client deliverables meet quality standards, schedules, technical requirements
  • Understand complex scheduling tools including earned value management and reporting processes
  • Formulate / develop detailed internal and Federal reporting requirements
  • Understand project financials and be able to report regularly to management on financial status and overall project performance
  • Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients, act as a single point of contact for assigned projects
  • Manage client interactions and negotiate / control project scope to client and the company's satisfaction
  • Support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation and follow-up
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in power generation or nuclear industries as an Engineer or Project Manager
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience
  • Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review
  • Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously
  • Knowledge in earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting
  • Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review
  • Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
  • Strong coordination and team building skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
  • Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel between 10-15 % of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Position may occasionally require a client site assignment lasting several months at a time
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies

Salary Range

The salary range for this full-time position is below. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Pay Range:
USD $121,000.00 - USD $172,000.00 /Yr.
