Job Title: Full-time Housekeeper Location: Upper East Side, New York Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $40-45/hr, with additional benefits Job Description: We are a warm and welcoming family of five residing in a spacious 5-bedroom townhome on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We are excited to partner with a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who can bring a friendly, can-do energy to our home as a full-time housekeeper. Responsibilities: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our townhome on a daily basis, including light and deep organizing, laundry, ironing, dishwashing, and trash disposal. Provide care for our beloved labradoodle and Scottish Fold cat, including walking the dog, cleaning litter boxes, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Assist with daily household tasks such as unboxing packages, cleaning and organizing the fridge, collecting and sorting mail, and sweeping the sidewalk in front of the house. Answer the door to receive packages or vendors as needed and liaise with our personal assistant regarding household maintenance issues or low stock items. Occasionally lift 40+ lbs during the course of the workday and maintain a non-smoking status. Occasionally work extra hours during evening events hosted by the family (not mandatory). Undertake larger-scale organizational projects and deep cleaning tasks when the family travels, including summers. Occasionally pick up our youngest child from a nearby bus stop. Demonstrate experience in handling and cleaning antique or precious furniture and dishware with care and attention. Qualifications: Fluent in English with excellent communication skills and impeccable follow-through. Ability to work Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Experience in housekeeping and animal care preferred. Must be physically capable of occasionally lifting 40+ lbs. Familiarity with the proper handling and cleaning of antique or precious items. Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently. Comfortable working in a family environment with children and pets. A friendly and positive attitude with a strong work ethic. Benefits: Hourly wage of $40-45/hr. $600 monthly health care stipend. 10 yearly vacation days, 5 yearly sick days, and 3 yearly personal days. Standard federal holidays observed.
