We are looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant II like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsMedical Assistant/NCT II Seeking aClinical Medical Assistant IIfor our practice who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role: · You will perform radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician · You will take patient histories and vital signs including ensuring all EHR is current · You will give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy · You will assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals · You will assist with scheduling of tests and treatments as needed for patients · You will answer telephone calls to the practice and screens for referral What Qualifications you will need: · Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials is highly preferred · Must obtain MA certification/ABR-OE credentials within one year of employment · New grads (within the last 12 months) from a Medical Assisting training program must obtain MA certification within 60 days of employment · Possession of active and unrevoked x-ray certification is required upon hire. · TENNESSEE ONLY: Must be additionally licensed by the state to perform radiologic services in a physician practice or clinic Supporting HCA Healthcare's 186 hospitals and 2,400+ sites of care, Physician Services plays a crucial role as the main entry point for patients looking for high-quality healthcare within the HCA Healthcare system.
