Job Description
TS Prosperity Group is seeking to hire a Financial Planner. The Financial Planner delivers services to assist clients with planning for their long-term and short-term financial needs. This involves conducting interviews to clarify financial goals, confirming risk tolerance levels, identifying challenges and opportunities, and recommending strategies that meet clients immediate and future financial needs

Preferred education and/or experience includes bachelor's degree. 2+ years' experience in interacting with clients in a direct financial advisory capacity. Certified Financial Planner (CFP) preferred. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) also preferred.

Location: Council Bluffs, IA

Experience and Skills
  • Provide ongoing comprehensive reviews of your clients financial circumstances, creating long term relationships through superior advice, financial planning expertise, and ongoing services
  • Develop financial plans for a portfolio of high NetWorth clients
  • Foster and support client relationships by liaising with clients and responding to requests
  • Gather and input information into a financial planning software and update information as required
  • Identify and develop new clients relationships and while also supporting existing clients
  • Cultivate relationships with service partners and local markets to optimize business opportunities and referrals
  • Provide proactive client contact management through telephone, fax and email requests
  • Ability to perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of company and the general public. Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.
  • To effectively perform the job, must have reliable transportation to travel to and from work and other work-related events, meetings, interactions with clients, etc.
  • Position may require the ability to work before or after normal business hours, including weekends and overnight travel, to meet required deadlines and attend meetings and/or training programs.
