SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Intergration Engineer - Submarine Combat Systems.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking an Integration Engineer to support theCommon Infrastructure Services (CIS) of the Submarine Warfare FederatedTactical Systems (SWFTS) in Manassas, VA. The SWFTS CIS is a subsystemwithin the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat and Weapons Control System which undergoesannual update cycles, alternating between software updates and hardwarerefreshes.
The Integration Engineer -Submarine Combat Systems, will be responsible for integration of softwarecomponents into the CIS Linux-based system environment, managing the softwarebuild process, and setup & management of the hardware and software test bayenvironments utilized for integration and test.
Essential Capabilities:
- Ability to managethe build process and documentation including migration of softwarecommits in Git and execution/automation of software quality and cyberscans.
- Skilled in utilizationof scripts to automate installation, test, and monitoring of systemsoftware.
- Knowledge of containerizedenvironments and Kuberneties container orchestration.
- Experienceintegrating multiple software components.
- Experience inDevSecOps and Agile methodologies.
- Setup andconfiguration of servers and network switches.
- Isolation ofsoftware and hardware problems and implementation of fixes.
- Experience participatingin Test Events and System Assessments.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.Advanced military technical training (e.g.Navy "C" School) and 7 years' experience in military systems (e.g.,service abroad a naval ship) can be substituted for a bachelor'sdegree.
Experience:Theideal candidate would have 3-5 year's integration and build experience on Linux-basedsystems.
Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.
