*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of health and safety. This role requires a compassionate approach, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

*Responsibilities*
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment options and care procedures.
- Perform specimen collection processing as needed for diagnostic testing.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort.
- Assist in the management of patients requiring dialysis or specialized care.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on best practices in critical care nursing.

*Skills*
- Proficiency in patient care techniques, particularly in an ICU setting.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
- Experience with pediatrics is a plus, including toddler care.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for diagnoses and procedures.
- Strong skills in pain management strategies for diverse patient populations.
- Ability to perform ophthalmology-related assessments when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and patient education.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records.
