Job Position: CNC Operator

Location: Huntley, IL 60142

Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00/hr

Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday

Description:

  • Runs CNC lathe equipment on shafts with tight tolerances
  • Parts require some manual filing/polishing
  • Knowledge of G code and M code
  • Inspects material to be machined on the CNC equipment with micrometers, gauges, tape measure, calipers
  • Responsible for the quality of machined parts produced on the CNC equipment
  • Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area
  • Routine machine maintenance (add coolant and lubricants)
  • Reports all non-conforming parts to their supervisor
  • Performs other work duties or functions as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 2 years CNC experience
  • Previous metal machine experience
  • Previous machine shop experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read and measure in metric and is able to confidently measure down to the micron level
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Good written verbal communication skills
  • Standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, reading prints
