THE WORK
Fast paced work environment that may include travel to foreign countries and exposure to the most advanced Aegis baselines at the Combat System Engineering and Development Site, (CSEDS) in Moorestown, New Jersey.
This position is for a team member who specializes in the training of the Operations & Maintenance of the Aegis Computer Network Technicians.
Responsibilities include creating and updating lesson plans, trainee guides, tests and presentation materials. Instructing in both classroom and laboratory environments. Evaluating training materials and procedures and makes or recommends revisions to keep courses up to date on software and equipment design changes. This position requires customer interface, classroom and laboratory instruction, training reports and presentations related to the Networking, Computer, and Display equipment at International and US Navy platforms including CSEDS. Must have the ability to qualify as an Instructor in accordance with Navy/ATRC instructions.
This position requires the development of Curriculum materials for International Programs on the Operations & Maintenance of the Aegis Weapon System. Additional responsibility include, but not limited to, instructor led training, development of course content, student learning objectives; preparation of course syllabi, lesson plans, testing, and student manuals. Evaluating training materials, procedures and makes or recommends revisions to keep courses material up to date on software and equipment design.
Basic Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Proficient using the following operating systems UNIX, Linux, and Cisco IOS, with the ability to explain how they work and how to work in them.
Understand the fundamental networking protocols, equipment and concepts used in Aegis from an ACNT perspective.
Aegis ACNT graduate, and have field experience in operation and/or repair of LAN, Display and Computer equipment on board Aegis platforms.
Be familiar with NAVEDTRA 131 naval training standards and instructional system design.
Have the ability to help create and update lesson plans, trainee guides, and presentation materials and instruct in both classroom and laboratory environments.
Require a Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
Graduate of US Aegis Computer Network Technicians course
1350 (AWS Supervisor BL 6), 1356 (CSMM), 1360 (AWS BL 7), 1380 (AWS BL 9), To Instruct Foreign Military personnel on the Aegis Weapons System.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
