General Description

TVG-Medulla, LLC (Medulla) affiliated with Chiro One Wellness Centers, is a high-growth, healthcare organization with 50+ clinics in the Midwest. Each month, we help thousands of patients live happier, healthier lives through our unique model of chiropractic care.

The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for the fulfillment of office supplies "ICOS" and office/medical equipment for current and future clinics, as well as moving materials within the Lombard warehouse upon receiving - the overall purchase of products, goods and services.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
•Monitor, fulfill, order and/or ship daily orders submitted via FreshService ("ICOS").
•Monitor, fulfill, order and/or ship One Time Purchase Requests "OTPR" via FreshService.
•DME order entry on a daily basis within OrthoTom.
•Fulfill, order and/or ship FF&E for de novo offices.
•Accept deliveries at Lombard warehouse; load, and unload goods.
•Monitor goods in and out of warehouse, thus controlling the flow of stock/keep stock records.
•Manage and maintain inventory and upkeep of supplies-"stock"; re-order and re-stock as needed.
•Assist with returns, delayed orders/shipments, troubleshooting as necessary.
•Approve/deny/modify orders within Staples Business Advantage and MeyerDC.
•Assist Purchasing Manager with EOM reconciliations and allocations as needed.
•Work with Facilities on an individual and group basis to maintain order of the warehouse.
•Perform other duties as required by the nature of the position or as requested by Manager, Director or COO.
•Communicate professionally and respectfully with all TVG-Medulla, LLC departments.
•Attend monthly Office Trainings and quarterly All Team Trainings.

Minimum Qualifications
•A high school diploma or the equivalent.
•Ability to lift over 10-20 pounds regularly and intermittently up to 50 pounds.
•JUDGMENT AND INITIATIVE: Must function well with minimum supervision. Must be a detail-oriented individual with good organizational skills. Ability to function in a semi-supervisory capacity to facilitate workflow.
•COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Strong oral and written communication skills in English required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Cost effective analysis/ price matching experience
