Production Assistant ManagerSummaryThe Production Assistant Manager oversees the productivity and safety operation of assembly lines, planning and managing short and long-term objectives for assembly production and providing capacity and labor planning. This role will work for MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC. (MNAe).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)Manage daily operations through KPI, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement to achieve the KPI targets.Ensures adherence to standard processes for data collection, documentation, and reportingSupport and manage continuous improvement activities in safety, environmental, quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity objectivesCoordinate continuous improvement teams to achieve division goals in productivity improvements, quality improvements, and safety goalsCoach and mentor the supervisors on standard work, problem-solving, and continuous improvement and effectively manage their performanceCoordinate corrective action planning to ensure effective root cause analysis and proper implementation of improvement methodsProvide conflict resolution for and coach Team MembersEnsure departmental compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety rulesInitiate reporting systems to monitor department performanceMaintain personnel headcount according to the business planConduct annual evaluations (MBO) of supervisory personnelFollow and promote safety in the workplace, including attendance at safety meetings as well as conducting safety meetings when necessaryAll other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: YesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:(The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)Required Education & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in a related field+ 5 years of management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environmentRequired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Strong Leadership skillsStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to take decisive action in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointCertificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None RequiredWorking Conditions:Incumbent works 8 to 10-hour shifts with occasional weekend assignmentsThe employee may need to move around the production floor frequentlyOvertime may be required as neededJob Type: Full-time, on-siteTravel Requirement: Domestic / International travel requiredExpected Start Date: NegotiableCompensation & Benefits: MNAe offers opportunities for growth, work flexibility, and competitive pay and benefits.MNAe our employees with competitive Medical / Vision / Dental insurance.The 401K offers our employees with competitive 401k program.MNAe offers relocation packages as HR Policy.
