There are two positions available: medical assistant for one doctor, back office, and the other is a floater medical assistant, and will work both front and back office, wherever coverage is most needed.
Schedule: 8 - 5 Mon. - Thurs., and Fridays, 8 - 1
Pay: $18 - $21/hr., DOE
Skills Required:
* Excellent multitasking skillsmust work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize and juggle tasks simultaneously
* Excellent phone etiquette
* Must adhere to the work schedule
* Computer and office experiencesomeone who can easily train on their software (NextGen) and Slack (email). Don't need to have used these programs, but need to be trainable, able to learn/pick up their software.
Skills Preferred:
* Experience as an MA and/or in a medical office, in general
* Slack (email)but very easy to train on this program
* Will be trained on NextGen (Windows-based program. But if you've used NextGen before, wonderful
Responsibilities
The MAs will schedule and do pre-authorizations, primarily, as well as various medical administrative/clerical tasks, as needed. They will also perform basic setup for the doctors (i.e., set up instruments in the exam room) and conduct patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, etc.).

* 90 days after perm, candidates are qualified to choose from 5 different plans

* 7 holidays and PTO1st two years, 80 hours per year. It's pro-rated after becoming perm
