Meridian, United States POWER Engineers Full time
Senior Structural Engineer

POWER Engineers seeks an energetic and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. If you have the desire to take your career to a new level with a company that is continually growing and consistently ranked at the top of our industry, then we want to talk to you.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the continual growth and success of your team. We are looking for an individual that knows what it means to be a leader, not just a manager. You will have the freedom and independence to grow your team and meet the needs of our clients while having the support and backing of a large, successful company.

You and your team will be asked to help design new modern manufacturing facilities, as well as providing design of industrial equipment supports, steel pipe rack design, and access platforms for clients in the renewable energy, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. We aim to exceed our client's expectations while providing a positive experience for our employees and communities.

Relocation assistance and a hiring bonus may be available for this position
Here are a few things you can expect
  • A major component of our design process relies on Building Information Modeling (BIM). In particular, the use of Autodesk Revit Structural is one of the integrated collaboration tools used in communicating 3-D design to our project teams, owners, and construction professionals.
  • There is a lot of latitude for decision-making; we're not interested in micromanaging.
  • We expect everyone on the team to assume ownership of the project's goals and success.
Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree with a Structural emphasis
  • 10years of experience
  • Ability to perform work requiring independent judgment, and adaptation/modification of engineering principles
  • PE License required
  • Competent in concrete, structural steel, and foundation design
  • Must have Finite element analysis experience, RISA 3D
  • Ability to manage small projects with little oversight
Desired Education/Experience
  • Experience with Navisworks
  • Experience with Revit
  • Deep Foundation design
At POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level. Our philosophy is simple: Do Good. Have Fun. Build Success.

You'll work on fun and challenging projects and initiatives. You'll have the chance to make a positive impact on society and the environment. And you'll find the support, coaching and training it takes to advance your career.

Since we're employee-owned, we get to make POWER a great place to work. That includes providing competitive compensation, professional development, and a full benefits package:
  • Medical/Dental/Vision
  • Paid Holidays
  • Vacation/Paid Sick Leave
  • Voluntary Life Insurance
  • 401K
  • Telehealth Benefit covers all providers
  • Maternity and Paternity Leave
  • New Dads and Moms Benefit program
  • Fertility Benefits
  • Gender-affirming care

POWER is a fun engineering firm. That might seem contradictory to some, but it works for us
