Position Summary:

The Manager of Marketing is responsible for optimizing all HPI and TPG marketing strategies, which include but are not limited to brand awareness, community relations, event planning, market share analysis and corporate communications. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions: (3-5 core functions-75% of time spent)

Functional Accountabilities:
  • Establishes positive media campaigns, corporate communications and brand standards.
  • Provides issue resolution and innovative efforts to grow market share.
  • Provides administration and partnered physicians with relevant information for increased service line market share, organized volume data and other business analysis for the HPI strategic plan.
  • Schedules and plans physician events and education programs that promote HPI service lines.
  • Coordinates and executes Worker's Comp Seminars.
  • Arranges physician speaking engagements.
  • Drives revenue to facilities through brand strategies across all media and event marketing.
  • Organizes programs, events, meetings, and/or conferences by arranging facilities and caterers, issuing information and invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling event budget.
  • Creates and presents project proposals to physicians and executive leadership.
  • Prepares and maintains budget for the HPI Marketing Department.
  • Serves as a representative of HPI in key community organizations.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with physician referral sources, Worker's Comp sources, employers, and family practice physicians.
  • Collaborates with the HPI Director of Professional Outreach to produce support materials that drive business growth.
  • Ensures all assigned duties and core responsibilities align with Tenet/USPI marketing governance.
Accountability:
  • Reports to: the HPI COO
Qualifications: (Minimum education, training and experience, licensure, certification)
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5 years' experience in marketing required.
  • Must have a valid license to drive.
Required Physical Demands:
  • Strength (Lift, Carry, Push, Pull): Medium (Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects)
  • Standing/Walking: Frequently; activity exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
  • Keyboard/Dexterity: Frequently; activity exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.

Environmental Conditions:

Level: Moderate

Hazards will be minimized if universal safety procedures are followed. Must follow standard precautions. Heavy work volume and high degree of accuracy required. May be required to work extended hours to meet critical deadlines. Travel may be required. Exposed to weather conditions during travel.
