BrightSign, the global market leader in digital signage media players, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead to join our growing team. Headquartered in San Jose, CA. Our media players are used worldwide, by many different vertical markets. This role will report to our IT Director, and aid in the growth of our internal infrastructure strategies to align with our business growth and needs. This is a hybrid role and will need to be present in our San Jose office a few days a week.

Key Responsibilities

:

Develop and implement infrastructure strategies that align with the companys goals.

Manage and maintain the organizations cloud and on-premise

computing, server, and networking environments.

Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of IT systems.

Lead the design and deployment of new infrastructure projects.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the infrastructure team.

Collaborate with other departments to support their technological needs.

Oversee the installation, integration, and maintenance of equipment and programs.

Monitor performance and manage resources to ensure efficient operation.

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Manage the helpdesk team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of end-user issues and maintaining high levels of customer service.

Proactively identify and assess potential security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with security standards and policies.

Qualifications

:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as ITIL, MCSE, PMP, CCNA, AWS are advantageous.

Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of cloud services, server architecture, and network infrastructure.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.

Skills

:

Proficiency in automation tools and orchestration engines.

Experience with cloud technology, preferably with platforms like AWS.

Experience with multiple operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Apple

Knowledge of system process analysis and data reporting.

Ability to produce and analyze business cases and streamline processes.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and multi-disciplinary projects.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, including threat modeling, risk analysis, and incident response.

Commensurate with experience and credentials. The starting range for this role is between $100,000 and $120,000.
