Relocation or commuting is required** We’re looking to hire an experienced professional to join our team as the Director at Kingdom Kids Community Daycare, the childcare center is located in Inwood, IA. As Director, you will: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the childcare center. Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Manage staff development and create a positive work culture. Build strong relationships with families and the community. Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations. PAY Starting Salary $40,000 Discounted childcare available upon request BENEFITS Paid Time Off - 1 week per 6 months Paid Holidays - # holidays in 2024 30 Minute Clocked Out Lunch HOURS Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am-4:30 pm (1 day a month - 10:30am - 7:30pm for board meeting) *Flex time is available after 6 months if approved by Daycare Board* QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services or a related field Experience in leadership in a child care setting, nonprofit organization or similar operation Experience teaching early childhood or serving as an assistant director in a child care setting or related field Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of staff Strong knowledge child development principles and best practices in early childhood education Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of licensing regulations and compliance requirements Experience in budgeting and financial management Basic knowledge of technology, and Brightwheel, Quickbooks, Google Drive Passion for working with children and families Ability to build positive relationships with parents, employees and community partners ABOUT US Our mission at Kingdom Kids Community Daycare Center’s purpose is to provide a caring atmosphere for young children as we share the love of God and His people.
