Responsibilities:

Position Overview

  • Developing and implementing risk management frameworks.
  • Navigating market trends to optimize sales and marketing efforts.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in energy solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, prospects and contacts potential clients to educate them on energy trading and risk management.
  • Develops and recommends fact-based risk mitigation and margin enhancement strategies for clients.
  • Analyzes individual client operations to determine market exposure, price sensitivity and financial risks.
  • Attends trade conferences, seminars and symposiums to represent products, increase contact with existing client base and identify new opportunities.
  • Performs market analysis, including reporting on energy production, weather, supply and demand variables, and provides risk mitigation and margin enhancement strategies for clients.
  • Executes futures, options and Swaps that support energy risk management strategies.
  • Maintains prompt and regular in person attendance.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Time management skills. Should be able to work well under pressure managing several time sensitive deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across all levels
  • Effective presentation and marketing skills
  • Ability to learn technical products and explain complex products in clear, simplified terms to prospective clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Energy

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Finance, Economics, or related field to include Business Management
  • Obtain Series 3 License within 60 days of hire (company sponsored)

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Full time/5x a week in office
  • Ability to travel
