Director of Sourcing – Capital Projects

Global Director of Sourcing – Capital Projects Responsibilitiesand implement cost-effective sourcing and contracting strategies for capital equipment and services across various contract types including EPC, EPCM, etc.data-driven decisions based on benchmarking, market analysis, and spend analysis.competitive landscapes and market trends impacting capital projects.seek cost optimization while maintaining quality and performance.with peers to align sourcing strategies with project execution plans.and evaluate potential vendors, ensuring they meet project requirements.and maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring compliance and driving improvement.vendor negotiations to secure favorable terms and manage contracts.the capital sourcing budget and mitigate risks, ensuring legal compliance.and mentor a team of 7+ global members, fostering growth and achieving departmental goals.

Global Director of Sourcing – Capital Projects Qualificationsundergraduate degree in business, finance, engineering or related field of study. MBA preferred in business, finance, engineering or a related field of study.plus years of global sourcing or relevant business (engineering, operations, finance, general management) with progressive responsibilitiesof a global functional organizationcreating and implementing strategies at a comprehensive and global level within a corporate environment for capital sourcing.to travel 20 – 30%management that drives impact, strong results and leads change.with EPC and Design/Build capital contracting strategies.relationship building, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.record of identifying and implementing cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives / projects across capital equipment & service
