Job Description Procurement Manager

NPC Global is a distribution company in Carteret NJ looking to add a Procurement Manager to our expanding team

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

Engage with and provide feedback to the individuals on the procurement team

Maintain a comfortable level of familiarity with vendors and all buying sources

Negotiating and maintaining supplier agreements

Identifying potential supplier sources

Conducting interviews with potential vendors

Creating and maintaining key performance indicators for the team

Requirements :

Financial and numerical skills

High-level of attention to detail

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Exceptional talent in negotiating and networking

Solid knowledge of supplier or third-party management software

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster strong supplier relationships
