Butler Machinery is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Technical Instructor to join our team and help shape the future of our training programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Conduct instructor led classes.

+ Prepare needed materials and calendar for upcoming classes.

+ Participate and assist with programs designed to encourage technician development, such as Tech Wars, Parts Wars and Summer Service Kickoff.

+ Stays current on product lines and equipment systems by attending supplier classes, and doing research for new materials.

+ Works within and promotes the vision, mission, and values of BMC.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Mechanical experience with the product lines we represent.

+ Certified AGCO, CLAAS/Lexion, MACS Air Conditioning, and Caterpillar CIAP certification preferred.

+ Understanding of Electrical systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting

+ Understanding of Hydraulics systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting

+ Understanding of Powertrain systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting

+ Understanding of Engine systems and fundamentals of troubleshooting

+ Basic understanding of computer operation and machine programing as it relates to the training responsibilities.

+ Ability to read and understand professional and technical manuals, schematics and software programs.

+ Must possess a clean driving record and be able to meet company insurability guidelines.
