Employees in this classification perform various duties requiring moderate physical strength. Position requires routinely working with noxious chemicals. Examples of Duties Lift/and or move up to 50 pounds.Dust mop, sweep, wet mop, scrub, and spray buff floors.Scrub and clean washrooms, fixtures, and keep restrooms supplied with towels, hand soap and other items.Must have the ability to operate cleaning equipment.Vacuum rugs and carpets and may be required to shampoo carpets on a regular basis.Must be aware that the safety and security of all college property is protected and that all regulations and policies are observed.Clean elevators and stairwells as assigned.Must be aware of and observe all safety rules, regulations, and policies.Will be required to strip and refinish floors.Notify supervisor of needed equipment repair or replacement.Other duties as assigned.
