POS is currently looking for a Printing Press Operator at our production facility in Waterloo, IA.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Operates machines in an efficient manner with minimal waste. Follows safety rules according to company policy.Sets up and adjusts press according to job specification, also adjusts thermograph for raised print when needed. Checks registration and alignment throughout the job run.Reads job packets and checks all materials inside to determine production quantity. Stock type, ink color, and printing placement specifications. Signs all job packets.Qualified candidates should have the following:Attention to detailBasic computer knowledgeExperience working in a print production facility or shopQuality conscious with good organizational skillsProductivity skills a mustExcellent attendanceAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.General hours for this position are 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.Starting hourly base pay $16.50 to $19.00 per hour commensurate with experience with opportunity to receive two increases during first year POS offers excellent working conditions, competitive wage and benefit program including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, life & disability insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
