POSITION OVERVIEW: The HR Data Analyst is responsible for the creation and maintenance of HR reporting dashboards including scheduled reports and fulfilling ad-hoc inquiries. With guidance from the HR Data & Analytics manager, this position will assist in the transition from legacy reporting infrastructure to a cloud-based analytics platform. The HR Data Analyst will also work across the various HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) to gather requirements, assess options, and build solutions for data and analytic requests. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: Develop, publish, schedule reports and dashboards to meet business requirements Assist business users on functional and data requirements to enhance data models Create and maintain ETL pipelines Development and support of visualization tools using Power BI for end user self service Analyze business requirements into technical requirements for reporting/visualizations, data models, and databases Document complex database designs and process flows Perform statistical analysis of data Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY: Bachelor’s in business or computer science-related degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 – 5 years of related experience required Exposure to Human Resources is preferred Comfortable turning raw data into meaningful information Advanced knowledge of SQL and Power BI Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience Ability to summarize complex business concepts into written & oral communications using PowerPoint and other data presentation tools Ability to multitask many projects and priorities across disciplines Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Experience with cloud technologies a plus Project management experience a plus This job posting provides cursory examples of some of the job duties associated with this position.
