About the job Neonatologist **Job Description:**The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team providing top-tier neonatal care across two facilities:**Mountain View Hospital:**- A 24-bed level III NICU with an average daily census of 24.- Offers high-frequency ventilation (jet and oscillators), therapeutic hypothermia, and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO).- Full pediatric subspecialty support, including pediatric surgery.- The 425-bed hospital serves as a teaching facility and is centrally located in one of Las Vegas's fastest-growing areas, offering teaching and continuous quality improvement (CQI) opportunities.**Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center:**- Currently a level II NICU with an average daily census of 5, expanding to a 15-bed level III NICU in Fall 2023.- Pediatric subspecialty support includes cardiology and surgery.- The 265-bed facility is situated in Spring Valley, a suburb of Las Vegas.Both hospitals are integral parts of the Sunrise Health System, which includes the Sunrise Childrens Hospital with a level IV NICU and our affiliated neonatologists.**Work Schedule:**- Details regarding shifts, on-call, and weekend schedules will be provided during the interview process.**Candidate Profile:**- Open to new graduates and seasoned professionals.- Pediatrix clears names system-wide to ensure a smooth onboarding process.**Compensation and Benefits:**- A competitive salary commensurate with experience and training, with the opportunity to discuss expectations during the interview.- Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.- Life insurance, disability coverage, and employee stock purchase program with a 15% discount.- Retirement savings options with company match, long-term care insurance, and tax-advantaged accounts such as HSA and FSA.- Additional coverage options including hospital, critical illness, accident plans, identity protection, and an employee assistance program.**Submission Requirements:**- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatrics - REQUIRED- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - REQUIRED- NV license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED- Candidates must be verified not to have applied directly to the position to be eligible for agency onboarding.Vivo HealthStaff is a healthcare staffing and recruitment firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing permanent and temporary opportunities to organizations across the United States.
