Must have knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures. Studies and understand specifications, such as blue prints, sketches or descriptions. Plans sequence of operations tto achieve finished product. Sets up and operates lathes, mills, drills presses, planers, or grinders to machine parts to specifications, using measuring instructments. Verifies dimensions and alignment, including making sketches that reflect size and configuration with precison measuring instruments. Performs other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position. Local Pay Rate: $28 Non Local Pay Rate: n/a Per Diem:
