Minimum Qualifications:Experience/Education:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice. 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy.BLS or obtain upon hire.Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion/AccuRX team.Essential Functions: Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory infusion clinic setting.Effectively utilize the nursing process to assess and care for patients. Provide comprehensive nursing care in a professional, ethical, knowledgeable, and compassionate manner. Provide disease and drug-specific education to patients and caregivers. Comply with HIPAA and ACHC regulations. Participates in on-call rotation as assigned for AIC nurses. Travel to outlying clinics as needed. Maintain knowledge of medical/nursing practices by participating in educational in-services. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision.
