  • Perform geotechnical field investigations, assign geotechnical laboratory tests, analyze lab and field data, and support development of geotechnical reports
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates for geotechnical investigations and design work
  • Perform fieldwork such as construction observation, instrumentation installation and monitoring, and field oversight and inspections
  • Providing support through training/mentorship for other geotechnical engineers
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical emphasis
  • 5 years of related work experience
  • Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain within in one year

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in geotechnical engineering
  • 8 years of geotechnical design experience
  • Experience in the investigation, design, and construction of earthen dams
  • Experience with the installation and operation of geotechnical monitoring equipment
  • Experience working on mine sites with an emphasis on safety
  • Computer skills with geotechnical software programs, including Geostudio, LPile, APile, gINT, or FLAC
