Act as a partner to the HR Manager in driving value-added talent and business outcomes that increase employee performance, engagement and retention and align with the company's objectives to increase revenues and profitability.

Essential Duties:

In partnership with the HR Manager, develops people programs and relationships that establish positive employee relations that coincide with the HR department's efforts to build and enhance a work environment that promotes employee engagement.

Manages HR projects effectively through entire life cycle from inception to implementation.

Manages hourly recruiting process and assists the HR Manager with the salaried recruiting process for all AASL and BCR locations which includes posting /advertising positions, maintaining and tracking requisitions, coordinating job fairs and managing applications.

Manages on-boarding programs for new hires which includes ensuring completion of new hire paperwork, facilitating benefits and employee relations overview presentations, coordinating and scheduling on-boarding dates for all departments.

Assists with the creation, maintenance, documentation and enforcement of standard Human Resource policies and procedures.

Additional Duties:

Coaches, advises and provides mediation to managers, supervisors, and employees to quickly identify, respond to and/or resolve various concerns, topics, needs and strategies.

Designs, facilitates and monitors compliance of leadership and employee training and development programs.

Assists with design of local hourly compensation programs.

Assists with the creation and reporting of Human Resource metrics that drive business results.

- Experience within employee engagement (planning lunches, events, etc.)

- Experience working in a blue collar environment
- 3-5+ years of experience

- 1-2+ years of experience within employee relations with specific experience in employee investigations

- Recruiting experience (preferred for production and maintenance roles)

- Strong experience within onboarding (running orientations, 30, 60, 90 reviews, building relationships with new hires, etc.)

- Bachelor's degree (preferred in an HR related field)

- Strong with multi-tasking, prioritization, follow up, and willing to function within a manufacturing plant and to talk their talk

- Comfortable working onsite 5 days a week in Barberton, OH
