Pirates Cove-Cashier

POSITION SUMMARY

The Cashier/Gate Keeper is the front-line guest relations position at Pirates Cove. The position accepts payment from guests entering the facility and greets guests as they enter and exit the facility. Requires excellent customer service skills and general math skills. Must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. All final candidates must consent to a criminal background check.

1. Selling admission tickets to customers, handling coupons, cash and credit card payments.
2. Running a point of sales cash register.
3. Counting money and balancing cash drawer at end of day.
4. Answering general information from guests in person or by telephone.
5. Greeting guests as they enter the facility.
6. Stamping hands of guests who exit the park and wish to return.
7. Directing parties and groups to group sales.
8. Checking bags to not allow restricted items into the facility.
9. Thanking guests for visiting the facility.
10. Maintain a clean work area.

PREPARATION AND TRAINING

The Cashier/Gate Keeper must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a willingness to perform general guest relations duties. Possessing a good grasp of basic math is a must. A combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for excellent job performance may be considered.

HOURLY RATE

$14.42/hour
