Position Title: Systems Engineering Lead

Location: Southeast Michigan (Fully Remote)

Are you a seasoned Systems Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience, including client interactions and consulting? Do you possess a passion for driving innovation and excellence in network infrastructure? We're in search of an experienced individual to join our client's team as a Systems Engineering Lead.

Qualifications:
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, with a track record of successful client interactions and consulting engagements.
  • Possession of a minimum of two mid-level certifications (e.g., MCSE-Microsoft, VCP or VCAP – VMware, CCDP-Cisco).
  • Demonstrated expertise in DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and LDAP configuration.
  • Experience in proactive maintenance scheduling, backup procedures, and system optimization techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple systems and tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead root cause analysis on chronic tickets to identify and eliminate ongoing issues, ensuring long-term stability and reliability.
  • Develop, compile, test, and deploy customer scripting tailored to user specifications for efficient problem resolution.
  • Coordinate and perform proactive maintenance and backups of systems, implementing measures to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Oversee the management, maintenance, and control of Framework Active Directory, including user privilege assignment, group share management, and home directory administration.
  • Administer file system management, backups, process control, user administration, and device management to ensure smooth system operation.
  • Manage and maintain various systems including Exchange, SQL, RDS, and IIS to uphold system integrity and performance.
  • Provide configuration and management expertise in DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and LDAP to support seamless network operations.
