We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to lead our tax compliance and advisory efforts. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and strategies, and will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our tax-related activities. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing tax preparation, providing strategic tax planning guidance, and ensuring compliance with all applicable tax codes.

Responsibilities:

Tax Strategy:

Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organization's financial position and minimize tax liability. Leadership:

Provide guidance and leadership to junior tax accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Complex Tax Filings:

Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations. Compliance Oversight:

Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes and updates. Financial Analysis:

Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and mitigate potential risks. Client Advisory:

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic tax planning and advisory services. Audit Preparedness:

Lead efforts in preparing for and supporting audits, maintaining accurate documentation for compliance purposes. Research and Interpretation:

Stay informed about emerging tax issues, conduct research, and provide clear interpretations of complex tax regulations. Software Utilization:

Utilize advanced tax software and financial tools to streamline tax preparation processes. Client Interaction:

Interface with clients to address complex tax matters, respond to inquiries, and provide expert advice.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Significant experience as a Tax Accountant, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities. In-depth knowledge of tax codes, regulations, and compliance requirements. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and develop team members. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in advanced tax software and financial management tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and team members. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously. Ethical and professional conduct in handling sensitive financial information.
