Were looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help keep our student housing community running smoothly. In this role, youll complete work orders, respond to maintenance needs quickly, and support a positive student experience through high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. What Were Looking For Proven experience in maintenance, building repair, or facilities work (student housing or multifamily experience preferred) HVAC certification or strong HVAC repair experience preferred Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs independently and efficientlyReliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety practices Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout your shift Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with students, staff, and vendors Understanding of cost-effective maintenance practices and the importance of working within established budget guidelines for supplies and repairs What Youll Be Doing Complete maintenance and repair work orders for student units and common areas Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure building systems run smoothly Prepare rooms/units for turnover during move-in and move-out periods Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance shops and storage areas Support after-hours emergency maintenance on a rotating on-call schedule Assist the on-site team in upholding a well-maintained, safe, and student-ready community Pay & Perks Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $32.00/hr based on experience Pay Schedule: Paid semi-monthly Quarterly Bonus Opportunities Paid Time Off: Vacation, sick time, and a floating holiday Health Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, EAP, and more 401(k) with Company Match Insurance Coverage: Begins the 1st of the month after your hire date Why Youll Love It Here At RISE, our motto is Love.
