Client Job Ref ID : 141395 Shift Description : Day shifts - 36 hours Travel Contract - Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Eureka, California, United States - 95501Job Title: Travel Contract - Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Number of positions: 1 Shift: Day shifts- 36 hours Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 07/18/2023 JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for delivery of patient care to a mainly geriatric population through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Also directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Minimum 2 years' experience as a RN (Emergency Department preferred). Critical care background preferred. QUALIFICATIONS Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Minimum two years RN Emergency Room experience Active unencumbered RN California state license Graduated from a fully accredited RN program One year of Epic experience TNCC Certification SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.s Requirements: COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
