Accounts Payable Specialist Jobot is a growing logistics company looking for an AP Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. This is a contract position for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
Salary
$25 $35 per hour. Seniority Level: Not Applicable Employment Type: Contract Job Function: Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries: Accounting, Financial Services, Banking Why Join Us Fun, flexible, fast?paced environment Promotions from within Great pay and benefits Job Responsibilities Accurately code and process invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals Perform vendor set?up and maintenance in the accounting system Conduct reconciliation of vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) Assist with month?end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment?related issues Use VLOOKUP and pivot tables in Microsoft Excel to analyze data and identify trends Maintain accurate and up?to?date records and files related to accounts payable transactions Qualifications 2+ years of experience as an accounts payable clerk or similar role Strong understanding of debits and credits and general accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record?keeping Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast?paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with cross?functional teams Experience with vendor set?up and maintenance in an accounting system Knowledge of account reconciliation and journal entry preparation Bachelors degree in accounting or related field preferred but not required To apply, click the Easy Apply button and submit your resume. #J-18808-Ljbffr
