- Manage and oversee the weekly, end-to-end payroll processing cycle ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as company administrator and employee contact for any issues or questions relating to 401(k), Flexible Spending Accounts and insurance.
- Retirement Preparation
- Auditing and Reporting
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the payroll and benefits functions, implementing improvements as appropriate.
- Work closely with teams, including Finance and HR, to ensure alignment on payroll and benefits-related matters and support company-wide initiatives.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes and industry trends affecting payroll and benefits practices, proactively mitigating compliance risks.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a unionized environment.
- Experience with UKG
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
