•Conducts regular meetings with respective managers within each functional team where support is required.

•Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the VP, Human Resources to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

•Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

•Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with legal resources as needed/required.

•Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

•Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

•Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

•Provides guidance and input on team restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Identifies training needs for teams and individual coaching needs.

•Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans

•Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters providing HR guidance when appropriate.

•Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.

•Implements Talent Management process including talent assessment and succession planning.

Education and/or Experience

•Bachelor's Degree

•SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment

•Minimum of 3 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.

•Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.

•Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful situations.

•Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance; detail-orientation is a must.

•Flexibility, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple tasks.

•Effective collaborator with proven process improvement skills.

•Exceptional organization and time management skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.

•Ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed team and independently.

•Keep up to date on technology trends, developments & best practices.

•Ability to communicate effectively to both technical & non-technical audiences.

•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

•Critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills are a must for this position

•Detail oriented with an emphasis placed on accuracy

•Ability to adapt to change, develop and train and/or learn new processes

•Well-organized; able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

•Ability to work with others in a collaborative team environment.

Language Skills

Proficiency in a second language preferred but not required - Spanish or French.
