We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our Lyndhurst branch within the beautiful New Forest, with the option to also work at our Totton branch, you'll have the freedom to choose a location that suits you best. The role provides a mixture of consulting and operating with an interesting and varied caseload. We offer 20-minute appointments to ensure our patients receive high-quality care and our team have sufficient time to provide thorough work-ups and excellent client communication. There are occasional periods of sole charge at Lyndhurst so would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with some confidence in routine procedures. Clinical freedom with Midforest Vets

In our practice, we encourage clinical freedom and case continuity and invite you to develop your own clinical interests and career advancement with the support of our experienced team. We have various in-house diagnostic equipment to aide you including ultrasonograpy, radiography, dental radiography, Vetscan laboratory machines, as well as an endoscope available at our Totton branch. We have a local IVC referral centre to offer support for more complex cases. Rota Patterns that work for you

Whether you are looking to fix or flex your work patterns, we can find the right solution for you and would welcome both full and part time applicants. We can offer flexible rota patterns within our opening times of 8:00am and 7:00pm Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a 1 in 5 rotation with TOIL given in return. There is no on-call as our OOH is covered by VetsNow. Join our supportive and experienced team

Our dedicated practice manager and supportive colleagues will ensure that you have all the resources and support you need to excel in your career. You will be joining our experienced team of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN and 5 receptionists/administrators. The opportunity for CPD and further learning is important to us, therefore we actively encourage and support this. One of our vets is currently undertaking a dental certificate and we have a radiology certificate holder along with active interests in dermatology within the team. About us
