Title: Sr. Integration Engineer

Location: Remote with occasional onsite travel to Parsippany, NJ.

Client Industry:Pharmaceutical manufacturing

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Sr. Integration Engineer that will be responsible forthe ground-up implementation of an integration platform connecting various sales, financial planning, quality, and factory applications. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining middleware infrastructure, collaborating with IT and business partners, and managing both onshore and offshore contracting teams.

Responsibilities
  • Design, document, and develop application and third-party integrations.
  • Maintain middleware infrastructure, including logging, monitoring, and auto-deployment to higher environments.
  • Collaborate with IT and business partners to understand the application footprint, business flows, and integration points across applications.
  • Create functional and technical documentation.
  • Identify and resolve production issues within SLAs.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD frameworks for all integrations.
  • Review and monitor project teams' adherence to coding standards and implementation frameworks.
  • Mentor junior engineers.
Skills Required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Able to present and communicate to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and teams).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Enjoys and excels in a fast-paced environment with some level of ambiguity on requirements.
  • Experience managing onsite and offshore consultants for timely and quality delivery.
  • Proficient and experienced in developing integrationswithBoomi or other middleware technologies like Mulesoft, Workato, etc.
  • Experienced in development using Java, Groovy, and Python.
  • Proven expertise in designing and developing integrations using a variety of patterns (API, event-based, file-based).
  • Hands-on experience in developing integrations using SOAP/REST-based services, XML/JSON, OData, JavaScript, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in EDI-based integrations and services in Azure.
  • Knowledge of queuing systems like Kafka, Solace, and other JMS queues.
Education& WorkExperience
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience with technical implementations of enterprise application integrations using middleware technologies, specifically Boomi, Mulesoft, Workato, etc.
  • 2-3 years of experience in developing complex integrations in Boomi and a strong understanding of on-prem Boomi Molecule/atom architecture.
