Job Description

Are you reliable, detail-oriented, and looking for weekend work? Oakmont Gardens is seeking a Weekend Janitor to help maintain our community's cleanliness and safety. Join our team and play a key role in creating a welcoming and sanitary environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Custodial Work: Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and polish common areas to ensure a clean environment.
  • Trash Removal: Empty and sanitize trash containers and remove garbage to external dumpsters.
  • Cleaning & Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize restrooms, high-touch surfaces, corridors, stairwells, and common areas.
  • Light Repairs: Perform light maintenance tasks such as plunging toilets as needed and cleaning dryer lint traps.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure exterior walkways, courtyards, and common rooms are clean and free of debris.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: High school diploma and 1+ year of prior cleaning or custodial experience.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of performing manual work and light repairs.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and basic English communication skills.
