Dir Nutrition Svcs

The Director of Nutrition Services and Security will plan, organize and direct the operations of the Nutritional Services & Security Departments in accordance with policies and procedures, standards and practices set by Mesa View Regional Hospital and governmental agencies. The Director will ensure that all applicable guidelines are followed in providing quality nutritional services on a daily basis. The Director will be responsible for: the supervision of staff, accurate inventory, accurate maintenance of records, inspection of related equipment, timely and accurate services to patients and other hospital departments/staff, understanding of sanitation and food safety procedures, and will help in reducing costs by reducing waste practices and cost control measures. The Director of Nutrition Services and Security will also assist in all of the daily functions, activity, and schedule of the Security Department and it's employees. All other duties as assigned.Education: High School Diploma Required. Formal training in culinary arts and dietary management.Experience: Two (2) years of supervisory and/or management experience. Security Experience preferred.Licenses/Certificates: Food Handler's and ServSafe Food Manager required. CPI required within 3 months.
