Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to play a key role in our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing software for medical devices and a proven track record of leading successful software projects. The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers, contributing to the design and development of software applications, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, regulatory-compliant software solutions for our medical devices. Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring the successful execution of software development projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance, to achieve project goals.

Software Development: Drive the design and development of software solutions for medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Take ownership of the software development life cycle, from requirements analysis to design, implementation, testing, and documentation. Architect robust and scalable software systems that meet the unique challenges of medical device development.

Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with the regulatory affairs team to ensure that software development activities comply with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO). Participate in regulatory submissions and audits, providing documentation and evidence of compliance.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating new tools and methodologies into the software development process. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the software development team to enhance efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in developing software for medical devices or other regulated industries. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python. Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards, such as ISO 13485 and FDA regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
