OVERALL PURPOSE:

Provide financial information to management and analyze the financial performance to ensure they have the data needed to make timely, sound business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Interpret, communicate, and provide financial results to Management personnel

Assist Business Manager with monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts

Serve as a financial resource to research, analyze, and answer questions

Responsible for monthly accruals and close procedures

Other special projects as requested by Group President or Business Manager

Monthly reconciliation of office working fund

Vehicle Allowance Program Coordinator

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

5 years of accounting and/or financial planning experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office Systems (especially Excel & Word)

Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Excellent analytical skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CPA

Coal industry experience

Working knowledge of Oracle & Ellipse
