Demand Planner

This role will collect and analyze historical warranty service information, warranty tickets and warranty time frame to identify trends that will be used estimate future product demand based on existing and future deployments to help plan inventory and seed stock by data center. In this position the person will be responsible for making sure the appropriate inventory is allocated to the ZT inventory stocking locations, as well as managing any problematic items. The goal is to maximize service levels while minimizing overstocks. This person will interface with multiple departments to achieve these goals.What you will do:•Review seed stock requests and analyze data to allocate inventory to the data center.•Audit existing data centers to ensure they have the needed seed stock.•Collaborate with regional managers on any seed stock balancing.•Collaborate with regional RMA hubs and regional managers on inventory balancing.•Review open RMA tickets that do not have inventory availability and elevate items if the items are problematic.•Ad hoc analysis as needed.•Review what items need to be transferred weekly using the "hot list".•Work with procurement on obtaining needed inventory based on demand plan.•Work with PCR/Engineering on ensuring we have alternatives available before the item is EOL. Recommend LTB/Items to hold us over until an alternative is available.•Improve fill rates/SLA and turns.•Collaborate with services team on seed stock or any inventory related issues.•Work with RMA team on any issues with inventory / resolving open tickets.•Help conduct and audit physical counts that are done quarterly.What you bring:- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, Engineer; or related field required, advanced degree preferred- 5 years relevant experience preferred•Strong analytical skills.•Strong computer skills with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Database)•Excellent organizational skills•Knowledge of SAP a plus.•Attention to detail.•Strong written and verbal communication skills•Ability to work with others.•Analysis and problem-solving skills such as the ability to question, accurately identify a need, and present an effective solution.•Time management skills.About ZT SystemsAt ZT Systems, you'll get to do work you are proud of alongside smart, passionate people.
