Job Title: Pump MechanicJob DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Pump Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and make repairs on industrial equipment, specifically pumps, in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid downtime.ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on industrial pumps and related equipment.Make necessary repairs to ensure equipment functions properly.Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel engines, generators, and air compressors.Maintain and repair electrical and hydraulic systems.Handle brake, engine, and transmission repairs for fleet vehicles.Utilize hand tools and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.Start in the shop and transition to a Road Tech role after 6 months.Participate in rotational on-call duties for emergency pump servicing.Essential SkillsExperience with pump maintenance and repair.Knowledge of diesel engines, generators, and air compressors.Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Ability to perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.Skilled in engine repair, brake systems, transmission, and fleet maintenance.Experience with hand tools and proper equipment maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsCandidates should have their own tools.Ability to work rotational on-call shifts.Why Work Here?Join a growing division with opportunities for advancement and professional development. After transitioning to a permanent role, you will be on rotational call for emergency pump servicing. The position requires flexibility and the ability to work on-call shifts as needed.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
