As a Screener with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within an educational location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, greeting and assisting visitors, and conducting screening procedures to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Greet and screen individuals entering the location, following site-specific procedures to help to deter unauthorized access. Provide customer service by addressing questions and assisting staff, visitors, and/or students as needed. Monitor entrances and exits to support access control and maintain an orderly environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Document observations and incidents in a clear and concise manner as required by Allied Universal and site policies. Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment. Remain alert to potential security-related concerns within the location and promptly report observations to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
