We are seeking a highly skilled Silicon Verification Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing Silicon verification tests, running and debugging tests, and ensuring the overall quality and functionality of our silicon designs. This role requires a strong background in electrical or computer engineering, proficiency in SystemVerilog and C/C++ coding, and expertise in chip/full system level ASIC verification.

Responsibilities:

  • Write Silicon verification tests and ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Run and debug verification tests to identify and resolve any issues.
  • Utilize chip/full system level ASIC verification skills to verify the functionality of silicon designs.
  • Debug using waveforms, with experience in Verdi source level debug considered a plus.
  • Demonstrate system level knowledge, particularly in the context of test benches containing CPU + multi-media engines with hardware-based coherency.
  • Work with various system setups including simulation test benches, emulation test benches, or boards.
  • Develop tests in C/C++, compile them for CPU, and execute them on simulation, emulation, or board environments without modifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful verification of silicon designs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required.
  • 7+ years of overall experience in the field of silicon verification.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog and C/C++ coding is a must.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with chip/full system level ASIC verification skills and debugging.
  • Experience with system architecture, including CPU + multi-media engines with hardware-based coherency.
  • Familiarity with debugging using waveforms, with experience in Verdi source level debug considered advantageous.
  • Ability to work with various system setups such as simulation test benches, emulation test benches, or boards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required:

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience with C or C++.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience with chip/full system level ASIC verification skills.
  3. Minimum 2 years of experience with systems architecture.
