Position Summary:

Ice-O-Matic is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and dependable Warranty Administration to join our Customer Service team. Under general supervision of the Customer Service Manager, you will provide support for service bench, manage warranty registration, processing, and water filter program. You will also support functions to our distributors, service providers and other external customers, communication interaction via phone and email to internal and external customers and service providers and interact with all departments to resolve requests and issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for general phone calls, emails regarding product information, warranty and providing directions for service questions.
  • Provide support in the warranty process by researching and following up with service providers and Ice-O-Matic service tech managers.
  • Some order entry processing, tracking, expediting orders and returns. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Skilled in planning and prioritizing workload to meet demands of daily customer requirements.
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Strong computer skills and mathematical aptitude
  • Excellent human/customer relations skills
  • Proven ability to effectively deal with all levels of internal and external contacts.
  • Thorough working knowledge of customer service field
  • Typing 50 wpm
  • Ability to handle different and specialized situations within department or functional area.
  • Ability to make decisions within defined procedures; able to handle different and specialized situations in job.
  • Ability to follow established priorities; expected to evaluate and respond to new situations requiring immediate attention.
  • Able to communicate effectively including e-mails and letters to clearly outline company's position.
  • Intermediate ability with Microsoft Word and Excel


The hourly wage is $24/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. This role is eligible for a bonus based on performance.
