You want to be an important member of a strong team of other makers who take pride in their work and support each other. Aa a Packer, you will be responsible for packing products, while ensuring all department safety, quality and production goals are met.. This position reports directly to the Department Manager and is supported by the department Team Leads. **WHAT YOULL BE DOING** (% of Time)

Ensure that the packing schedule is followed in order to satisfy the needs of our customers. Ensure quality of product meets Company and industry standards. (60%)

Ensure that all needed raw materials and supplies are in stock before beginning the packing process. (20%)

Perform quality checks per procedures. Report any quality issues directly to the department lead. (20%)

**DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**

If you can do everything listed above, youve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

* High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

* Attendance: Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.

* Speaking: Able to effectively communicate in group settings and one-on-one, with all departments and at all levels within the organization. Effectively communicate between shifts to ensure departmental goals are achieved.

* Measurements: Able to read a tape measure to 1/32 tolerance and to use combination squares to measure angles to +/- 1 degree, micrometers, calipers.

**TRAVEL REQUIRED**

This job does not requires travel.

This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Gallatin, TN
