Work is located in Annapolis, MD at the United States Naval AcademyThe core working hours are 7:00 am -4:00 pm, Monday through FridayStarting pay is $20.53 per hourThis position requires pre-employment criminal history background checks, government security clearances and drug testing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSweep and mop hallways, stairs and officesEmpty wastebaskets and dispose the trash in prescribed mannerDust horizontal surfacesEmpty and wash ashtraysClean bathroomsWax and buff floors with prescribed buffersClean glass and windowsWash walls and other vertical surfacesSweep and clear snow from outside steps and sidewalksPolish kick panels, doorknobs and other designated fixturesStrip and wax floorsVacuum rugsMix cleaning solutionsMaintain issued equipmentNotify supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed to perform tasksAll other duties assigned by Custodial Foreman QUALIFICATIONSSix months experienceBe capable of performing the responsibilities of the positionMust be able to pass all pre-employment requirementsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
