Precision Excavation is a leading Excavation, Demolition, and Earth Retention Contractor in the Chicagoland area. With nearly 20 years of experience, Precision specializes in everything from luxury residential homes to large commercial site development projects. Our work is primarily within the City and the immediate Northern Suburbs. We are a growing company and have an opportunity available for the right self-motivated and career-oriented individual. You will join a team that has been successful in many complex projects and undertakings, advancing with each new project.

Duties:

· Review Drawings, Project plans, requirements, and specifications

· Perform cost Estimating and Project Take-Offs

· Join Estimators and Ownership on-site visits, pre-bids, and client meetings

· Track Job Hours, Machine Logs, and Field Notes

· Help manage change orders, Field Tickets, Trucking Tickets, and project closeout documents

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent

· 1-4 years construction experience, internships, or field experience

· Background in earthwork

· Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

· Organized and detail-oriented

· Ability to meet deadlines
